The Democratic National Committee is hearing pleas today from Michigan and Florida. This is in regards to the penalty placed on Michigan and Florida for violating the Democratic party rules when they held their primary too early. The DNC rules committee told the nominees to pull their names from the primary ballots in protest to violating the DNC rules.

All the nominees pulled their names except Senator Clinton. As Senator Clinton thumbed her nose at the Democratic National Committee and rules committee, she was the democratic primary winner in both of these states.Florida and Michigan announced her as the clear winner in their primary.

Senator Clinton has been pushing for the Democratic Committee to allow the vote count on Michigan and Florida when it came apparent that she was losing in the national elections.

The DNC rules committee is planning to set delegates from Michigan and Florida, but just how they are going to do this the main topic of debate today. An answer is expected by the end of today as protesters march outside the Washington Hotel. They are protesting that all votes should be counted. It is the American way.

Hopefully this will be resolved today and the democratic party can start focusing on the August Convention.
