Prince once the heart throb of many young girls turns 50 today. Prince’s Purple Rain is still just as popular as ever. Will Prince get an AARP card? Is it time for retirement?

Prince officially becomes a member of the AARP crowd. It is amazing that Prince still has the ability to pull in the young crowds and their parents. I am in my 50s and my kids and grandkids just think I am old and ready for pasture. I assure them I am not ready for retirement yet.

Close behind Prince, in the over 50 crowd, is Madonna and Micheal Jackson. I know Madonna and Micheal Jackson will receive an AARP card. I see no retirement in the near future for any of these top pop icons.
