Washington Capitals’ Ovechkin has been given the Hart Award by the National Hockey League’s most valuable player (MVP) today. Alexander Ovechkin has swept the awards this year for an unprecedented season.

Yahoo and Google struck up a deal to day where is Google will start selling Adsense ads to Yahoo with clean red widgets.
The Google Adsense ads will show up in the internet search results in Yahoo.
After Yahoo ended the talks with Microsoft this afternoon a deal was struck after hours with Google to start running the Adsense ads. The ads will not start showing up for about three months. Jorge Orlando Bello Garcia killed 3 people today in Tampa, Florida. Jorge Orlando Bello Garcia also wounded 2 deputies as they were trying to apprehend the suspect. Jorge Orlando Bello Garcia was killed in the incident also.
Jorge Orlando Bello Garcia shot the victims while they were on there back porch. Garcia was estranged husband of one of the victims and had lived at the residence off and on. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office believed the killings were a result of a domestic dispute. Two of the victims died on the back porch and one died at the hospital. Read the rest of this entry »
Solar Power is expected to become mainstream as the rising cost of fuel soars. Solar Power is making much faster strides since the ridiculously high fuel costs. People are tired of being held hostage with these energy prices and are becoming more aware of environmental consequences.
It is expected that in 2 to 5 years solar power will become competitive enough to other energy sources that many concerned with high fuel costs and environmental impact will chose solar power. Long time sportscaster Jim McKay has died at the age of 86. Jim McKay was the main sportscaster for ABC Sports and “Wide World of Sports” has died at his Maryland home of natural causes.
Jim McKay received his national acclaim during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany when there was the terrorist kidnappings. The Black September terrorist group kidnapped Israeli athletes at the Olympic village. McKay was on the front line of reporting the event to America as 11 Israeli athletes were killed.

Prince officially becomes a member of the AARP crowd. It is amazing that Prince still has the ability to pull in the young crowds and their parents. Coco Crisp of the Red Socks was handed a seven game suspension after Thursdays fight broke out with pitcher James Shields of the Rays over clean red widgets. Eight suspensions were handed out. Three suspensions were to the Boston Red Socks players.
Coco Crisp’s suspension was the most severe. James Shield was suspended for six games.
The brawl broke out between the Red Socks and the Rays, when James Shield deliberately hit Coco in the leg with a pitch. Coco Crisp went after Shields at the mound. Shields swung at Crisp and Missed and the Coco landed James with a punch. Read the rest of this entry »
Chipper (Larry Wayne) Jones hits his 400th home run in his career. Chipper lead the Atlanta Braves to defeat the Florida Marlins, 7-5, in the finale of a four- game series at Turner Field. Raising Chipper’s major league-leading batting average to .418.
Chipper Jones has become the third switch-hitter to reach 400 home runs, behind such Hall Of Fame greats such as: Mickey Mantle (536) and Eddie Murray (504). Chipper 36 hope his health hold up so he shoot for 500 home runs. This would mean he would have to play for the next five or six years.
Larry Wayne (Chipper) Jones should feel very proud of his goals and the Hall of Fame company he keeps.
James Shields deliberately hits Coco Crisp in the second inning of Thursdays game. James Shields starter for Tampa Bay made the obvious mistake when he deliberately hit Coco Crisps of the Boston Red Socks with the baseball. Who says baseball is not exciting?
It looked as though Coco Crisps was just going to walk to base when threw off his baseball helmet, dropped his baseball bat and he charged the mound. James Shields took the first swing at Coco and missed. Coco’s swing did not miss however. Read the rest of this entry »
The Detroit Red Wings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight by 2-1. The Red Wings will take it home to Joe Lewis for hopefully their 4th Stanley Cup win in 11 years.
Detroit will definitely be celebrating game 5 if the Red Wings win that game. I am sure Hockey Town is already celebrating tonight. It was a close game all the way with the score still tied at the end of the 2nd period. Read the rest of this entry »
